Job Summary

We are hiring a US Tax Executive for our tax team. Your main tasks will be preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. You will ensure compliance with US tax laws, collaborate with team members and clients, research complex tax issues, and assist with tax planning to identify savings opportunities.

Responsibilities and duties

- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct tax research to resolve complex issues and provide guidance.
- Identify deductions and credits to minimize client tax liabilities.
- Maintain organized account records and tax-related documents.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members about tax concepts and inquiries.
- Stay updated on tax law changes to ensure compliance and provide current advice.

Requirements and qualifications

- Education:



Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, or related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years in tax preparation and return review needed.
- Tax Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx Tax, and Drake Tax.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and propose solutions is expected.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate review of documents for correctness and compliance is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Must clearly explain tax concepts and build client relationships.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, especially during peak seasons, necessary.
- Knowledge of Tax Laws: Robust understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws is essential.
