About the Role: We are seeking a commercially aware Marketing Analyst & Coordinator to join our offshore team supporting a highly reputed US retail brand. Working directly with the VP of Operations and the marketing department, you will play a central role in bridging raw performance data with actionable marketing strategy. This position requires an intuitive understanding of the US retail landscape, geography, and consumer psychology.
While you will rely heavily on your Advanced Excel skills to download reports and synthesize performance metrics, your primary focus will be coordinating campaigns, analyzing customer loyalty behaviors, and helping the US team strategize smarter marketing moves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail & Consumer Coordination: Analyze multi-state customer data, loyalty programs, and regional retail trends to provide insights into US consumer psychology and buying behavior.
- Campaign Optimization & Review: Review outbound marketing campaigns, SMS texts, and promotional strategies, advising on what messaging resonates best across different US demographics.
- Strategic Reporting:
Extract and synthesize raw marketing data from various platforms to build comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for the executive leadership team.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize Advanced Excel functions to manage large datasets, identify trends, spot variances, and prepare the necessary reports to aid in marketing strategy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Respond promptly to management requests and actively participate in weekly strategy and check-in calls with senior US authorities to help guide decisions.
- Market Research: Maintain an active understanding of US retail geography, seasonal trends, and competitor movements to add valuable context to your reporting.
Candidate Requirements (Must-Have Skills):
- US Market Expertise: Prior exposure to the US retail sector, e-commerce, or US consumer-facing businesses. You must understand basic US geography and regional retail nuances.
- Reporting & Excel Skills: Advanced, hands-on Excel proficiency is strictly mandatory (complex VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting) to build reports and track campaign success.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond the spreadsheet and understand the "why" behind consumer data to coordinate better marketing operations.
- Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills, capable of confidently coordinating with senior US management and presenting insights clearly.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of core experience in marketing coordination, campaign analytics, or retail operations support.
- Shift Availability: Fully available on US EST hours (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST) consistently (Mon-Fri).
Good to Have:
- Prior experience working directly with US-based marketing executives or in an offshore marketing coordinator role.
- Familiarity with CRM software, marketing automation platforms, or customer loyalty tracking systems.
