Position: US Bench Sales Recruiter
Job Summary The US Bench Sales Recruiter is responsible for marketing and placing IT consultants who are available on the bench. The role involves identifying suitable project requirements, developing relationships with staffing vendors and clients, submitting consultant profiles, coordinating interviews, negotiating rates, and supporting consultants through the placement and onboarding process.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Bench Consultant Marketing
- Market available IT consultants to US staffing companies, implementation partners, prime vendors, and clients.
- Maintain an updated database of consultants, including skills, experience, location, visa/work authorization, availability, and preferred work arrangements.
- Prepare and share consultant profiles based on suitable job requirements.
- Develop effective marketing strategies to reduce consultant bench time.
2. Requirement Sourcing
- Search and identify relevant IT requirements through job portals, LinkedIn, vendor networks, staffing contacts, and other professional channels.
- Analyze job descriptions and match requirements with available consultants.
- Maintain a daily pipeline of potential requirements and opportunities.
- Identify contract, contract-to-hire, and other suitable opportunities for consultants.
3. Vendor & Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with US staffing vendors, recruiters, implementation partners, and clients.
- Build a network of reliable vendor and client contacts.
- Communicate regularly with vendors regarding open positions, submissions, interviews, rates, and placement status.
- Follow up consistently on submitted profiles and open requirements.
4. Consultant Submission
- Submit qualified consultant resumes to relevant requirements.
- Ensure consultant resumes accurately reflect their skills and experience.
- Track all submissions and maintain submission history.
- Avoid duplicate submissions and confirm representation requirements where applicable.

Rate Negotiation
- Discuss and negotiate hourly rates with vendors and clients.
- Evaluate potential placements based on rate, location, work arrangement, contract duration, and consultant availability.
- Coordinate internally to ensure placements meet company margin and commercial requirements.
6. Interview Coordination
- Coordinate interviews between consultants and vendors/clients.
- Provide consultants with job descriptions, interview schedules, and relevant preparation information.
- Follow up with vendors and clients for interview feedback.
- Communicate interview results and next steps to consultants and management.
7. Placement & Onboarding
- Follow up on offers, contracts, background checks, onboarding requirements, and start dates.
- Coordinate with HR, immigration, payroll, and other internal teams when required.
- Ensure consultants provide required documentation within the expected timelines.
- Track consultant start dates and project information.
8. Consultant Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with bench consultants.
- Understand consultant skills, availability, location preferences, and project requirements.
- Keep consultants informed about submissions, interviews, feedback, and opportunities.
- Support consultants during the transition from bench to project.
9. Daily Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Prepare daily and weekly bench sales activity reports.

- Recommend appropriate opportunities and marketing strategies for bench consultants.
11. Compliance & Data Accuracy
- Ensure consultant information submitted to vendors and clients is accurate and authorized.
- Follow company policies regarding candidate representation and resume submissions.
- Maintain confidentiality of consultant and company information.
- Coordinate with appropriate internal teams regarding work authorization and compliance documentation.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of the US IT staffing industry
- Experience with US Bench Sales and consultant marketing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of US staffing terminology and recruitment processes
- Ability to work with US time zones
- Experience with LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, and staffing/vendor networks
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and reporting
- Ability to work independently and meet placement targets
