Senior Oracle APEX Developer

Experience

9+ Years of overall Oracle development experience, with solid hands-on experience in Oracle APEX.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, enhance, integrate, and support enterprise applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

The candidate should have strong experience in building scalable APEX applications, REST API integrations using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), database performance tuning, UI customization, application security, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
- Develop APEX pages, forms, dashboards, reports, Interactive Reports, and Interactive Grids.
- Implement Dynamic Actions, validations, computations, processes, authorization schemes, and application workflows.
- Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, collections, and exception handling.
- Design and optimize Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, and database packages.




- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using ORDS.
- Consume external REST/SOAP web services from APEX applications.
- Work with JSON/XML data for API integration and transformation.
- Customize APEX user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and application security.
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including execution-plan analysis and query optimization.
- Troubleshoot application, database, API, and production issues.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support.
- Perform code reviews and ensure development standards and best practices are followed.
- Work with business analysts and functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
