- Design and develop automotive seating system and components.
- Develop and review detailed 3D models, 2D drawings and technical specifications using tools such as UG-NX (Mandatory).
- Design BOM and CAD model from RFQ to SOP.
- Collaborate with cross functional team including industrial design, program management, manufacturing, Testing, quality and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ergonomic requirements, and customer specifications.
- Perform tolerance stack-up and ensure DFM/DFA principles are applied.
- Participate in FMEA, DFMEA and design reviews.
- Interface with OEM customers for technical discussion, design reviews, and issue resolution.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable safety regulations, ergonomic standards and durability requirements (FMVSS, ECE etc.)
- Support prototype builds, testing and production launch activities, including root cause analysis for design related issues.
