Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced State Head / Vertical Head to lead business operations and drive sales, revenue, market expansion, and overall business growth for the assigned state.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end state-level business management, team leadership, channel development, customer relationships, and achievement of business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end business and sales operations for the assigned state.
- Develop and execute state-level strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and growth targets.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Drive market expansion through retail, distributors, stockists, hospitals, institutions, and corporate accounts.
- Develop and strengthen distributor/channel networks and key customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and business opportunities.
- Drive territory planning, sales forecasting, market penetration, and customer acquisition.




- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to improve business results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Provide regular business updates and market intelligence to senior management.

Candidate Requirements Must Have

- 1218 years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role such as State Head, Regional Head, Zonal Head, Business Head, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales/revenue targets.
- Strong experience in team handling, distributor management, channel development, and business expansion.
- Positive understanding of pharmaceutical/healthcare market dynamics.
- Strong leadership, business development, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.

Education B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm / Life Sciences / Graduate with relevant industry experience.

Preferred Profile

Candidates from reputed Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Retail Pharmacy, Distribution, or related organizations with strong state-level business leadership experience will be preferred.
