Role Description This is a full-time work-from-office role based at our Indore office. As a Unity Developer / Game Development Engineer at NineBit Computing, you will design, develop, optimize, and maintain interactive and game-based content using Unity. On a day-to-day basis, you may build gameplay and interactive experiences, develop Unity Editor tooling and asset pipelines, and implement clean, scalable, and well-documented systems.

The role also involves profiling and optimizing applications across CPU, GPU, memory, and load-time constraints, with a particular focus on lower-powered classroom hardware and smartboard panels. You will work on WebGL-specific optimization and manage builds and releases across iOS, Android, Windows, and browser-based platforms. You will also integrate REST/GraphQL APIs,



manage authentication and data serialization, and ensure data handling follows applicable education privacy standards such as FERPA and COPPA.

Qualifications

- Solid working knowledge of Unity and C# with experience building interactive, game-based, or real-time applications.
- Experience with Unity Editor tooling, asset pipelines, gameplay systems, and clean, maintainable software architecture
- Understanding of performance profiling and optimization across CPU, GPU, memory, load times, and different hardware capabilities
- Experience building and optimizing Unity applications for WebGL, including browser compatibility and memory constraints
- Understanding of application and education data privacy considerations, including standards such as FERPA and COPPA
- Take ownership of Unity development, performance optimization, and multi-platform releases
- Degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
