Role Description The UI/UX Trainer will deliver structured, practical training sessions in user interface and user experience design to students at CRAFT’s Dehradun campus. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves planning curricula, preparing instructional materials, and conducting classroom and lab-based sessions. The trainer will guide learners through design principles, tools, workflows, and project-based assignments, while providing one-on-one mentoring and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities include assessing student performance, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UI/UX trends and industry practices, collaborating with academic staff to enhance program quality,



and contributing to workshops or seminars that support students’ career readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in UI and UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design processes.
- Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms).
- Experience in conducting classroom or corporate training, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible way.
- Knowledge of design systems, interaction design, usability testing, and basic principles of visual and graphic design.
- Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with a learner-focused and inclusive teaching style.
- Ability to design curriculum, create practical assignments, and evaluate learner performance through projects and assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior industry experience in UI/UX design or product design, preferably with a portfolio demonstrating applied work.
- Comfort working in an on-site academic setting in Dehradun and collaborating with multidisciplinary faculty and staff.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with design tools, methodologies, and emerging trends in digital products.
