Role & responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using OpenText UFT One and VBScript. Build reusable automation frameworks, functions, libraries, object repositories, and descriptive programming solutions.

Automate

Oracle EBS, web, and enterprise applications; execute regression suites; analyze results; troubleshoot failures; and perform database validation using SQL. Integrate automation suites with Jenkins, CI/CD, ALM, and Quality Center. Collaborate with functional and business teams, conduct script reviews, maintain test reports and metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation framework and testing strategy.

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidates with 4 to 8years of experience in test automation using OpenText UFT One, HP UFT, or QTP.
- Strong hands-on experience in VBScript and developing reusable automation frameworks.




- Experience with Object Repository, Descriptive Programming, Recovery Scenarios, Checkpoints, Synchronization, and data-driven testing.
- Practical knowledge of Oracle EBS automation testing.
- Experience automating web and enterprise applications and executing end-to-end regression test suites.
- Exposure to Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, ALM, or Quality Center.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation; exposure to API or Web Services testing is beneficial.
- Ability to analyze automation failures, debug scripts, and improve framework reliability.
- Solid communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates who can work effectively with functional, business, development, and testing teams.
