Key responsibilities

- Support system integration work across airframe, propulsion, avionics, and payload — tracking interfaces, part lists, and open items as subsystems come together

- Assist in validating aerodynamic and propulsion data against design targets: cross-checking analysis outputs, dyno/bench data, and mass properties for consistency, and flagging discrepancies to senior engineers

- Prepare and maintain system-level documentation — requirements trackers, configuration lists, test procedures — under the direction of the Lead/Program Engineer

- Support flight-test preparation and execution: assembling test cards and checklists, setting up instrumentation, logging data during ground and flight tests, and helping with post-test data organization

- Maintain traceability between the PDD requirements (range, endurance, payload, CEP) and the current design/test status, surfacing gaps rather than resolving them independently

- Provide day-to-day coordination support between the mechanical, GNC, and propulsion engineers — scheduling reviews, tracking action items, keeping shared documentation current

Required qualifications

- B.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical,



or a closely related engineering discipline

- 3–5 years of experience in a systems engineering, integration, or test-support role, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or another hardware-intensive industry

- Basic understanding of aircraft performance fundamentals (drag, range/endurance, mass/CG) — enough to sanity-check data, not to independently generate it

- Working proficiency in Excel/Python for organizing and cross-checking engineering data

- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline — this role is measured on catching inconsistencies and keeping records accurate, not on independent design decisions

- Willingness to work hands-on at test benches and, periodically, at flight-test ranges outside Bengaluru

Positive to have

- Exposure to any aero analysis tool (XFLR5, Flow5, AVL) or basic test-data reduction

- Prior internship or junior-engineer experience on a UAV, drone, or small-aircraft program

- Familiarity with configuration management or requirements-tracking tools
