Role Purpose

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and regression suites.

Support validation and testing of RPA solutions developed using UiPath. Improve test efficiency, quality standards, and automation coverage across applications and business processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAs/KPIs

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and enterprise applications.
- Develop and enhance reusable automation frameworks and utilities to improve testing efficiency.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing support.
- Validate business processes automated through UiPath and ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Verify UiPath bot execution, exception handling, logging mechanisms, and recovery scenarios.
- Perform testing of attended and unattended UiPath automation workflows.




- Collaborate with RPA Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure automation solutions meet business expectations.
- Review Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents

(SDDs) to identify test scenarios and risks.

- Identify automation opportunities within the QA process and recommend continuous improvements.
- Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution during deployments.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives,

and other Agile ceremonies.

- Execute and maintain automation regression packs and ensure optimal test coverage across releases.
- Track, document, and report defects using Jira/Azure DevOps and verify defect resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring defects and production issues.
- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and defect trend analysis for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing best practices, and organizational quality processes.

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Testing with at least 6 years in

Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured, or Karate.
- Exposure to UiPath workflows, bots, and RPA testing activities

Competencies

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of Automation Testing experience.
- Robust experience in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- API Testing using Postman, Karate, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured.
- UiPath exposure including workflow understanding, bot validation, and RPA testing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and test automation best practices.
- ISTQB certification preferred
