Your work profile
- - Review readiness of systems prior to commissioning in terms of erection completion, documentation, manpower, tools, and safety clearances
- Develop detailed commissioning plans and schedules for all plant systems including boiler, turbine, generator, and balance of plant (BOP) packages
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and OEM teams for smooth transition from construction to commissioning phase
- Plan and monitor pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as flushing, hydro testing, light-up, and trial runs
- Ensure availability of consumables, utilities, and commissioning spares required for startup activities
- Track contractor and vendor performance to meet commissioning milestones and startup targets
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning and initial operation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and quality procedures during all commissioning activities
- Prepare and monitor system-wise commissioning checklists and documentation including SOPs and test reports
- Coordinate for synchronization, load testing, and performance guarantee (PG) tests of the unit
- Develop look-ahead plans and daily/weekly progress reports for commissioning activities
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of commissioning budgets and cost control measures
- Liaise with operations team for smooth handover of commissioned systems and ensure proper training
- Drive strategies to optimize commissioning timelines and achieve early project completion
Key Skills
- 10+ years of experience in commissioning in thermal power plant
- B.E./BTECH from top engineering colleges. Post Graduation is an added advantage
- Candidate should have good presentation skills, valuable command on English
- Early/immediate joiners
