Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role located in Tonk.
The Truck
Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks, following assigned routes and schedules to transport goods and materials. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and ensuring proper unloading at delivery locations. The role involves complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintaining accurate delivery and mileage records, and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
The Truck
Driver will collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams,
adhere to company safety policies, and provide professional, timely service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills, including safe operation of Truck vehicles and adherence to road safety practices.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A license and a clear driving record in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and the ability to consistently follow compliance and safety requirements.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with loading and unloading procedures, including securement of cargo.
- Candidates should possess valuable communication skills, basic record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to follow route plans and instructions.
- Previous experience as a commercial truck driver or in a logistics/transport environment is preferred.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Tonk, with flexibility for varying routes and schedules as needed.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and perform routine vehicle checks.
