About the Role

FCL is looking for a Treasury Manager to manage the company's fund management, investment portfolio, and short-term financing activities, along with oversight of payments and receipts accounting. This role suits a finance skilled with hands-on treasury exposure who is comfortable working across multiple financial instruments and coordinating with banks, auditors, and internal finance teams.

Key Responsibilities Fund & Investment Management

- Manage day-to-day fund planning, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management across group entities
- Handle investments in Mutual Funds (MFs), Equity, Bonds, and other approved instruments as per the investment policy
- Evaluate and execute investments in Commercial Papers (CPs), Bonds/Debentures, and other money-market and debt instruments
- Track bond/debenture holdings including coupon schedules, credit ratings, and maturity/redemption timelines
- Monitor investment portfolio performance, track maturities, and recommend reinvestment/rollover strategies
- Maintain relationships with banks, brokers, and fund houses for competitive rates and terms

Treasury Operations

- Manage working capital facilities, fund/non-fund based limits,



and related bank documentation
- Track and optimize deployment of surplus funds to maximize yield while maintaining liquidity
- Prepare periodic MIS/dashboards on fund position, investment returns, and treasury exposure
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, RBI guidelines, and applicable regulations

Payments & Receipts
- Oversee vendor payments, intercompany transfers, and receipts accounting
- Coordinate bank reconciliations and ensure timely accounting of treasury-related transactions
- Support month-end closing activities related to treasury and investment accounting

Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in statutory and internal audits related to treasury operations
- Ensure accurate books of accounts for investments, borrowings, and related income/expenses under Ind AS (including fair valuation of bonds/equity as per Ind AS 109)
- Support senior finance management with ad-hoc analysis and treasury-related reporting

Desired Skills

- Sound understanding of Equity, Mutual Fund, Bonds/Debentures, and Commercial Paper instruments
- Working knowledge of Ind AS relating to financial instruments (preferred)
- Strong Excel/financial modelling skills
- Good coordination skills with banks, brokers, and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
