Avaaruha Private Limited is looking for an energetic and sales-focused Junior Travel Consultant to join our team in Valanchery.

The role will focus on increasing sales, developing B2B business, acquiring new customers, preparing customized travel itineraries, and handling travel enquiries.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, confidence in dealing with customers, and a strong interest in building a career in the travel and tourism industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new sales for flight tickets, holiday packages, visa services, and other travel products
- Conduct field sales activities and identify potential customers
- Identify and approach B2B travel agents, corporate clients, institutions, and other business partners
- Build and maintain relationships with B2B customers
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Prepare customized domestic and international holiday itineraries independently
- Research destinations, hotels, attractions, transportation, and activities
- Prepare quotations and travel proposals based on customer requirements
- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, social media, and walk-ins
- Coordinate with suppliers and travel partners for rates and availability
- Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and confirmed sales
- Identify new sales opportunities in the local market
- Support promotional campaigns and other business-development activities

Candidate Requirements

Experience: 03 years

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma in Travel & Tourism or equivalent





Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong sales and customer-handling skills
- Confidence in meeting customers and conducting field visits
- Ability to approach and develop recent B2B customers
- Basic knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations
- Ability to research and prepare customized travel itineraries
- Good computer and internet research skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Good follow-up and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented attitude

Knowledge of GDS, airline ticketing, visa processing, or holiday-package operations will be an added advantage. Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also apply.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is proactive and sales-driven, rather than waiting only for incoming enquiries.

The candidate should be comfortable going into the market, meeting potential customers, developing B2B relationships, following up on leads, and actively contributing to the company's sales growth.

The candidate should also be capable of researching destinations and gradually developing the ability to design and sell their own customized travel itineraries.
