Position Overview
Plumeria Holidays is hiring a Travel Consultant – FIT & GIT Holidays for our Kochi office. The role involves handling individual and group travel enquiries, preparing holiday proposals, coordinating bookings, and supporting customers throughout the booking process.
This position is suitable for candidates looking to build a long-term career in holiday sales and travel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle FIT (individual) and GIT (group) holiday enquiries
- Understand client requirements and suggest suitable holiday options
- Prepare itineraries, quotations, and cost proposals
- Follow up with customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, DMCs, and other vendors
- Assist with booking confirmations, vouchers, and travel documentation
- Maintain records of enquiries, follow-ups, and booking status
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 6 months of experience in sales, travel, or customer service roles
- Exposure to FIT or GIT holiday packages is an added advantage
- Positive communication and basic negotiation skills
- Organized and comfortable handling multiple enquiries
- Willingness to work in a target-oriented environment
- Graduate in any discipline
