Role Description The Transportation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal. This role oversees day-to-day transportation operations, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective service.

The Transportation

Manager manages fleet utilization, coordinates with drivers and operations staff, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include resolving transportation issues, optimizing routes, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves collaborating with customers and internal teams to provide clear communication,



address service concerns, and support continuous improvement in logistics processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Transportation Management and Fleet Management skills to oversee vehicle operations, route planning, and utilization.
- Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills to manage daily logistics activities, process optimization, and performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with clients, drivers, and internal teams effectively.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to analyze data, use transportation or fleet management software, and make decisions that improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal and manage field operations as needed.
