As Transport Operations Manager, you will lead the regional transport and fleet operations, managing a large fleet of vehicles and a team of drivers and coordinators to deliver best-in-class employee transportation services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all transport operations and SLA compliance in the assigned region
- Manage a fleet of 100-500 vehicles and 200-1000 drivers
- Drive cost optimization through route planning and fuel management
- Build and maintain solid client relationships and handle escalations
- Ensure all regulatory compliances - permits, insurance, fitness certificates
- Lead driver training, safety programs, and performance reviews
- Prepare monthly P&L; and operations reports for management
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Operations Management, Logistics, or Transport
- 8-12 years of experience in transport/fleet/logistics management
- Proven track record of managing large fleets and distributed teams
- In-depth knowledge of MV Act, transport regulations, and GPS systems
- Strong analytical, financial, and leadership skills
Willingness to travel within the region frequently
