Position: Transport Manager – Operations & Business Development

Location: Chennai

Experience: Minimum 5 years in corporate employee transportation / fleet management

Reports to: Managing Director

Main responsibilities

Manage transport operations across all client sites.

Coordinate vehicles, drivers, routes and shifts.

Handle client transport SPOCs and daily operational issues.

Monitor compliance: FC, insurance, permits, medical, PVC, driver documents, etc.

Track vehicle utilization, trips, billing and vendor payments.

Handle client meetings and performance reviews.

Identify new corporate transport opportunities.

Approach companies for employee transportation contracts/RFPs.

Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and tender responses.





Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients.

Coordinate onboarding and implementation after winning a contract.

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate procurement/facility/transport teams.

Target new business and increase ITZ Mobility's vehicle deployment and monthly billing.

Important: I would make this a business operations role, not just a site transport manager. The person should have a proven network in Chennai corporate transport and experience converting leads into contracts.
