Role Description The Transport Manager will oversee daily transport operations, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and dispatch coordination for shipments in and around Indore. This full-time, on-site role involves managing the fleet, monitoring vehicle utilization, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and resolving operational issues promptly.

The role includes coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure service commitments are met, addressing queries, and maintaining accurate records of trips, costs, and performance metrics.

The Transport

Manager will work closely with drivers and logistics staff to improve efficiency, reduce downtime,



and implement process improvements. The position is based at the Indore office and requires hands-on supervision of transport activities.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in Operations Management and Transportation Management to oversee day-to-day logistics and transport activities.
- Proficiency in Fleet Management, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, and utilization tracking.
- Excellent Customer Service skills to manage client expectations, handle inquiries, and support long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with drivers, internal teams, vendors, and customers in a transparent and timely manner.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and use basic digital tools or transport management systems for planning and reporting.
- Knowledge of local routes, transport regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Capacity to work on-site in Indore, make operational decisions under time pressure, and lead a diverse team in a fair and inclusive manner.
