Role Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Transition Manager to lead the transition of Service Desk, IT Operations, and Security services into the UST operating model. The role focuses on Project Management, Stakeholder Management, IT Operations, and Change Management to enable controlled knowledge transfer, operational readiness, effective governance, and a stable go-live.

The ideal candidate brings strong transition leadership capabilities and experience coordinating stakeholders, operational teams, and enabling functions throughout the transition lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Apply Project Management practices to develop and manage transition plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Lead Stakeholder Management across customer SMEs, UST delivery teams, and enabling functions while establishing effective transition governance.
- Coordinate current-state assessments of support models, processes, and operational workflows.
- Support IT Operations readiness by coordinating access, connectivity, workplace, and operational prerequisites.
- Develop and manage knowledge-transfer plans and SME availability calendars.
- Track knowledge acquisition and validation and coordinate shadow and reverse-shadow activities.
- Apply Change Management practices to support transition readiness, go-live, stabilization, and the transfer of ownership to steady-state operations.
- Ensure SOP, runbook,



and escalation-model readiness.
- Coordinate operational readiness assessments and quality tollgates.
- Drive go-live approval and transition into hypercare and stabilization.
- Establish SLA baselines and associated reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure transition deliverables are completed and formally closed.
- Support early-life service stabilization and continuous improvement planning.

Experience Typically 10–14 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in transition, service transition, or program management. Education & Certifications

- Graduate degree/diploma in IT or a related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2 and/or ITIL certification preferred.
