The role
We're looking for someone to own the operational health of our trading systems and exchange connections. This isn't a passive monitoring job — you're the first line of response when something goes wrong during market hours, and you'll build the tools and processes that make sure it happens less often.
What you'll do
- Monitor live trading systems and exchange connections across NSE, BSE, MCX, or crypto during market hours (different shifts for MCX and Crypto)
- Triage incidents quick — identify root cause, contain impact, escalate intelligently
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting
- Handle EOD reconciliations, position reports
- Work with the quant and engineering team to improve system observability over time
What we're looking for Must-have:
- 1–3 years in trading ops, exchange operations, or technical support in financial markets
- Understanding of NSE/BSE/MCX
- Working Python — you can read, write, and debug scripts
- Linux comfort
- Calm and structured when things go wrong
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with crypto exchange operations or APIs
- Exposure to FIX protocol or exchange connectivity
