Function Plant Operations

Role As the Team Manager, you will be part of the Engine Assy - Quality Team and will report to the Section Head. Your role will be to ensure product quality of components as per desired standards & specifications, to deliver defect-free components to the next customer by establishing zero defect conditions and evaluating process parameters through audits.

A Purpose Driven Role for You Your roles and responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the process & product audit as per the quality plant.
- Participating in New Models event (M1, PP1, PP2 & SOP) to identify quality issues proactively and ensure elimination of issues before SOP.
- Verifying the status of all the PTDBs issues in new models.
- Participating in new model PFMEA & initiating actions according to action priority.
- Preparing PQCT & check sheets for new model.
- Analyzing non-conformance during audits and ensuring timely closure.
- Ensuring timely calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Analyzing market issues, preparing & executing action plans for VTQI/warranty.
- Ensuring adherence & effectiveness of warranty countermeasures.
- Preparing & communicating MIS on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Shift wise manpower planning & deployment.
- Participation in SIT/QCC in TEI.

A Day in the Life To plan, coordinate, and execute the activities in the Engine Assy in order to produce the First Time Right Quality.

Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech/Diploma with work experience >3 years

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. MS Office, SAP.
2.



Understanding of Quality Systems, usage of QC Tools, PFMEA, SPC, Why Why Analysis, etc.
3. Thorough knowledge of Drawings, GD&T;, Machining operations.
4. Knowledge of quality tools like PFMEA, PFD, 5 Why Analysis & other problem-solving tools.
5. Knowledge of machining processes, technical capabilities of component drawing study.
6. Knowledge of Engine parts functioning & CTQs.
