Sunrise Tours & Travels is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Ticketing Staff member to join our team in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for handling airline reservations, ticket issuance, cancellations, reissues, and customer support while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle customers professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
- Search and provide suitable flight options based on customer requirements.
- Issue, reissue, refund, and cancel airline tickets accurately.
- Handle date changes, name corrections, itinerary changes, and related ticketing requirements.
- Check fare rules, baggage allowances, cancellation policies, and applicable charges.
- Prepare quotations and communicate ticket details and pricing to customers.
- Coordinate with airlines, GDS systems, and other travel partners when required.
- Maintain accurate booking and customer records.
- Respond to customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Follow up on pending bookings and payment requirements.
- Assist customers with pre-travel and post-booking ticketing support.
- Ensure all transactions and documentation are completed accurately.





Requirements
- Previous experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations is Required.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international airline ticketing.
- Familiarity with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is Required.
- Good understanding of airline fare rules, ticketing procedures, refunds, and reissues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced travel agency setting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling both domestic and international sectors.
- Knowledge of major airlines and international travel routes.
- Previous experience in a travel agency, airline, or tourism company.
- Relevant certification or training in airline ticketing and reservation systems.
