STREAMEDU Technologies is an Indian EdTech company building an indigenous learning platform and hands-on STEM, Robotics, AI, and Coding education ecosystem for schools and colleges across India.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Three.js Developer to build and optimize 3D workflows within our application — including interactive 3D models, product visualizations, and immersive learning experiences for STREAMEDU's Robotics, AI, and STEM platform. You'll work at the intersection of 3D graphics and web development to bring our robotics kits and simulations to life on screen.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize 3D scenes, models, and interactions using Three.js and WebGL.
- Develop interactive 3D visualizations of robotics kits, components, and simulations for the learning platform.
- Integrate 3D workflows into our existing React.js-based web application.
- Optimize 3D assets and rendering performance across devices and browsers.
- Work with designers and 3D artists to import, rig, and render models (glTF/GLB, FBX, OBJ) correctly on the web.
- Implement camera controls, lighting, animations,



and user interactions within 3D scenes.
- Debug rendering, performance, and cross-browser/device compatibility issues in 3D workflows.
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure smooth integration between 2D UI and 3D content.

Requirements

- 1–4 years of hands-on experience with Three.js and WebGL in production applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+); TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience working with 3D model formats (glTF/GLB, FBX, OBJ) and asset optimization for the web.
- Understanding of 3D fundamentals — meshes, materials, lighting, cameras, shaders, and animation.
- Experience integrating 3D content into React.js or similar front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for real-time 3D rendering on the web.
- Familiarity with Git version control.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Blender or other 3D modeling/animation tools.
- Familiarity with React Three Fiber.
- Understanding of GLSL shaders.
- Exposure to AR/VR web experiences (WebXR).
- Prior experience building product configurators, simulations, or interactive 3D demos.
