We are looking for an experienced CAE Engineer with strong expertise in Vehicle Thermal Management, Underhood Thermal Analysis, and Cabin Cooling simulations using STAR-CCM+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations for vehicle thermal management, underhood airflow, and cabin cooling.
- Develop and analyze thermal-fluid models using STAR-CCM+.
- Evaluate radiator, condenser, fan, heat exchanger, and underhood thermal performance.
- Perform HVAC and cabin airflow/thermal comfort simulations.
- Analyze results, identify thermal issues, and recommend design improvements.
- Correlate simulation results with test data and support validation activities.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings with design and engineering teams.
Required Skills:
- 37 years of relevant automotive CAE/CFD experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with STAR-CCM+.
- Good understanding of vehicle thermal management, underhood airflow, HVAC, and cabin cooling.
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, turbulence, and conjugate heat transfer.
- Experience with automotive CFD pre/post-processing and result interpretation.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
