Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

- Teach Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Science) to students of Classes VI to X.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the CBSE/state board curriculum.

- Develop annual lesson plans, unit plans, and daily teaching schedules.

- Use innovative teaching methodologies, experiments, demonstrations, and project-based learning techniques.

- Encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and scientific temperament among students.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Design and conduct periodic assessments, examinations, practical tests, assignments, and projects.

- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.

- Monitor student performance and prepare remedial action plans for low-performing students.

- Maintain assessment records and academic documentation as per school norms.

Laboratory Management

- Conduct practical sessions safely and effectively.

- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of laboratory equipment and materials.

- Adhere to laboratory safety procedures and guidelines.

- Assist in inventory management of laboratory resources.

Student Development

- Mentor and guide students in academic and co-curricular activities.

- Identify and support students with learning difficulties.





- Encourage participation in science exhibitions, Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions.

- Maintain discipline and foster a positive classroom environment.

Parent & School Engagement

- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress effectively.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.

- Participate in school events, assemblies, exhibitions, educational tours, and other institutional activities.

Professional Development

- Attend training programs, workshops, seminars, and professional development sessions.

- Stay updated with advancements in Science education, pedagogy, and educational technology.

- Support implementation of NEP 2020 and other academic initiatives.

Educational QualificationsEssential

- B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Biology or relevant Science discipline.

- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.

Preferred

- M.Sc. in a relevant Science subject.

- CTET/TET qualification (where applicable).

Experience

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.

- Freshers with solid subject knowledge, communication skills, and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
