About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our academic team in Hassan. The ideal candidate should have a strong subject background, excellent classroom management skills, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the TGT level.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for TGT-level students.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with the school curriculum.
- Explain programming concepts and computer fundamentals effectively through practical and theoretical learning.
- Conduct practical sessions and guide students in hands-on computer activities.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings,
school events, and other academic activities.
- Stay updated with developments in Computer Science education and incorporate relevant teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management to support students' overall development.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or a relevant field.
- Relevant teaching qualification such as B.Ed. will be preferred/required as per school norms.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience specifically at the TGT Computer Science level.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and practical applications.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
- Candidates from Hassan or nearby locations are preferred.
