Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer with 34 years of experience who can take ownership of the end-to-end quality of our products.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automated testing, API testing, UI testing, mobile/web/desktop application testing, performance and reliability testing, and test automation frameworks.

The role requires someone who can understand the complete product and technology stack, identify risks early, design effective test strategies, and ensure that products are reliable, scalable, secure, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end testing and quality assurance of software products.
- Understand product requirements, technical specifications, user flows, and system architecture.
- Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, desktop, and backend applications.
- Design and execute API and service-level testing.
- Validate end-to-end workflows across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Identify edge cases, failure scenarios, security risks, and potential production issues.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Test mobile applications across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement reviews and technical design discussions to identify quality risks before development is completed.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test environments, test data,



automation frameworks, and testing documentation.
- Perform performance and scalability testing for critical product workflows.
- Monitor production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and prevention of recurring defects.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and engineering quality standards.

Education & Experience

1. Experience: Skilled (4-5 years)
2. Qualification: B.Tech CSE

Technical Skills:

- 3–4 years of professional experience in software testing / QA / SDET / test automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one language such as:
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- C++
- or similar
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cypress
- Appium
- or equivalent frameworks
- Strong experience with API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright, pytest, or similar.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and backend services.
- Good understanding of SQL and databases for data validation.
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of defect management, root-cause analysis,



and test reporting.

Automation Testing: The candidate should be capable of building and maintaining a robust automation framework, rather than only writing individual automated test cases.

End-to-End Product Testing: The candidate should understand how different components of a modern product interact and should be able to test complete workflows across:

Frontend API Backend Services Database External Services Cloud Infrastructure

They should be comfortable identifying failures that may not be visible at the UI level and validating data and behavior across the entire system.

Testing Across Platforms The candidate should have working knowledge of testing applications across multiple environments:

- Web: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge
- Mobile: Android and iOS
- Desktop: Windows/macOS/Linux applications where applicable
- Backend: REST/gRPC APIs and services
- Cloud: Applications deployed on AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar environments

Performance & Scalability Testing Experience with performance testing is preferred, including:

- Load testing
- Stress testing
- Endurance testing
- Scalability testing
- Concurrent-user testing
- API performance testing
- Response-time analysis
- Bottleneck identification

Experience with tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, Locust, or similar is a plus.
