- Conduct testing of cement, concrete, aggregate, soil, bricks/blocks, steel, bitumen and asphalt.
- Perform tests as per IS Codes, ASTM standards and approved laboratory procedures.
- Collect, receive, identify and properly handle test samples.
- Operate laboratory testing equipment and ensure proper equipment usage.
- Record test observations, calculations and results accurately.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, worksheets and laboratory records.
- Ensure testing activities comply with NABL requirements and quality procedures.
- Check the condition and calibration status of testing equipment before use.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Report any non-conformity, abnormal test result or equipment issue to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with Quality Manager, Lab Technician and clients for testing requirements.
- Assist in internal audits, quality improvement activities and documentation.
Preferred candidate profile Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
