Job Responsibilities The Validation Technician will support platform testing and system validation activities in a lab workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform testing and validation of PC platforms and subsystems. Identify, reproduce, and triage system or OS issues. Log, track, and follow up on bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
- Support validation of platform features across hardware, drivers, firmware, and operating systems.
- Work with engineering teams to debug issues and verify fixes.

Basic Qualifications

- 0-1 years of experience in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of PC platform architecture and motherboard components (CPU, RAM, GPU, BIOS/UEFI).
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as PCIe, USB, USB-C, SATA, or similar technologies. Basic knowledge of drivers, firmware, and system power states (ACPI concepts such as S-states, C-states, D-states).
- Familiarity with Windows OS and general system troubleshooting.
- Exposure to bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs of equipment when required. English and Spanish communication skills required.
