Job Summary

System Test Engineer – Virtualization & Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

- End-to-end system testing experience in Virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) and Kubernetes-based environments.

- Solid hands-on testing experience on Server, Storage, and Networking in virtualized on-premises data center environments.

- Experience in VMware functional and feature validation testing.

- Good understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including clusters, nodes, pods, deployments, services, ingress, storage, and networking components.

- Perform system-level validation of Kubernetes platforms, including cluster deployment, upgrade, scaling, resiliency, and failover testing.

- Execute HA, DR, performance, scalability, security,



and interoperability testing in Kubernetes environments.

- Troubleshoot and analyze issues related to cluster health, pod scheduling, networking, storage provisioning, and resource utilization.

- Create Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Reports.

- Perform end-to-end manual system testing and feature validation.

- Exposure to tools such as kubectl, Helm, Docker, Rancher/OpenShift/Tanzu, or similar Kubernetes platforms is desirable.

- Automation knowledge using Python, Robot Framework, PyTest, or similar tools is an added advantage.
