Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager – Micro Finance LOS with strong expertise in Microfinance, Micro Lending, Rural Lending, and Loan Origination System (LOS) Transformation Programs .

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing across LOS platforms, while leading distributed testing teams and driving quality governance initiatives.

The role involves ownership of test strategy, planning, execution, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, defect management, release readiness, and delivery of lending transformation programs across Microfinance and Rural Banking ecosystems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 12+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services / IT Testing.
- Solid experience in Microfinance, Rural Lending, Assets Banking, and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) .
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Test Manager or significant experience as an Assistant Test Manager.
- Experience managing distributed testing teams of 10+ members .
- Strong understanding of customer onboarding, credit assessment, lending operations, LOS integrations, and end-to-end quality assurance.
- Experience supporting lending platforms for Individual, SHG, JLG, and Rural Lending programs.

Key Responsibilities 1. Test Management & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end testing activities across SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and E2E testing.
- Develop and maintain Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Roadmaps, and Test Execution Plans .
- Define resource requirements, team allocation, testing schedules, and skill requirements.
- Ensure complete test coverage across functional, business, compliance, and integration requirements.
- Drive release readiness assessments and quality sign-off.
- Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and project milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and delivery effectiveness.

Ensure seamless data flow and end-to-end process validation across lending ecosystems. 5. Test Execution & Quality Assurance

- Oversee test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and E2E testing cycles.
- Coordinate with Business, Technology, Operations, and Vendor teams.
- Ensure traceability from requirements through testing and defect closure.
- Review testing deliverables and release readiness reports.
- Monitor testing KPIs, execution status, and delivery milestones.

6. Defect & Risk Management

- Lead defect lifecycle management.
- Conduct defect triage, prioritization, tracking, and closure reviews.
- Analyze defect trends and identify quality improvement opportunities.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical and high-priority defects.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Proactively escalate critical quality and delivery risks.

7. Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary testing lead for stakeholder communication and governance.
- Collaborate with Business, Operations, Technology, Product, and Vendor teams.
- Provide regular status updates to Delivery, Program, and Leadership teams.




- Manage stakeholder expectations and testing commitments.
- Provide visibility into project health, quality, risks, and release readiness.

1. Quality Governance & Reporting

- Ensure adherence to testing processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Establish quality checkpoints and review mechanisms.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and governance assessments.
- Maintain project documentation, testing repositories, and artefacts.
- Prepare testing dashboards, governance reports, and executive summaries.
- Track defect leakage, productivity, testing effectiveness, and quality trends.

1. Team Leadership

- Lead testing teams across multiple project streams and locations.
- Allocate resources and monitor team performance.
- Mentor Test Leads, Test Analysts, and Senior Test Engineers.
- Drive testing best practices and capability development.
- Promote ownership, accountability, and quality excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of overall IT / Software Testing experience.
- 2+ years of Test Manager experience.
- Strong Banking, Lending, or Microfinance domain experience.
- Proven experience in LOS implementation / transformation programs .
- Experience managing testing teams of 10+ members .
