To be successful as a Sr Test Engineer, you should have experience with:

- Expert in BDD/Gherkin (Cucumber, Selenium) and UI automation frameworks using Java, with ability to design scalable E2E test solutions across MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns.
- Strong functional testing across ST/SIT/E2E with robust defect management, test strategy design for distributed systems in regulated banking environments, aligned to Agile and STLC best practices, and proficiency in JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Deep knowledge of Trade Finance (LC, Bank Guarantees, SWIFT messaging) with proven ability to define quality gates, drive shift-left practices, and lead testing teams through complex transformation programs.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

- Experience with AI/ML tools for test optimization, intelligent test generation, and predictive analytics to improve efficiency and coverage .
- Exposure to testing complex environments combining SaaS platforms and internally built applications with hands-on experience in Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, and Corporate Banking systems.
- Expertise in ETL testing capabilities, MongoDB experience, API automation, test setting management, and performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner.

Purpose of the role To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
