Role & responsibilities

- Manage sales and business development for the assigned territory.

- Drive sales through dealers, distributors and sub-dealers, particularly for the Professional business.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and customers.

- Generate primary and secondary sales through the assigned distribution network.

- Identify new business opportunities and ensure continued business from existing customers.

- For relevant divisions, engage directly with hospitals, doctors, purchase heads and nursing heads.

- Conduct regular customer and channel-partner visits across the assigned territory.

- Conduct product demonstrations and awareness activities for nurses, nursing heads and hospital staff where required.

- Provide product and commercial support to dealers for hospital business.

- Monitor market conditions, customer requirements and competitor activity.

- Maintain regular sales/activity reports and update the company's systems as required.

- Present territory performance, activities and achievements to internal stakeholders.





Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience.

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline; B.Pharm / Science background preferred.

- Strong preference for candidates from Medical Devices, Surgical or Wound Care industries.

- Experience in dealer/distributor/channel sales is highly preferred for Professional business roles.

- Candidates with experience dealing with hospitals, surgeons, doctors, purchase teams or nursing teams will be relevant for Clinical/Advanced Wound Care roles.

- Candidates with OT / surgical exposure are preferred where applicable.

- Experience working in an MNC environment is preferred.

- Solid communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Good territory management and business development capability.

- Willingness to undertake extensive field travel.

- Candidates should be comfortable with regular reporting and working within structured MNC processes.
