Role & responsibilities

Role Overview The Regional Manager holds full ownership of the assigned territory, covering sales growth, customer relationships and after-sales service. The position is based at the Delhi office. Day-to-day work is largely independent and field-driven. Success in the role depends on building trust with contractors, resellers and key accounts across the region.

Territory and sales

- Own the assigned territory and plan sales activities to achieve business targets.
- Identify new customers and opportunities while maintaining regular contact with existing customers and key accounts.
- Support sales through product demonstrations, customer meetings, site surveys and technical solutions for existing and potential customers.
- Gather competitor information and market intelligence from the field.

Customer service and training

- Troubleshoot electronic equipment, carry out repair and maintenance, and keep accurate service records.
- Coordinate with resellers on service support and timely warranty registrations.
- Deliver product training to customers, drill operators and reseller technicians.
- Build robust relationships at all levels within customer organizations and ensure a high standard of after-sales service.

Safety and reporting

- Follow site safety protocols during all field visits, demonstrations and service work.
- Prepare trip reports, monthly activity reports and regular territory updates.

Preferred candidate profile

Education and experience





- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in technical sales, field service or application engineering. Exposure to construction equipment, utilities, telecom or infrastructure is an advantage.

Technical and language skills

- Proficient in written and spoken Hindi and English.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word. CRM experience is preferred.
- Sound awareness of site safety practices.

Soft skills

- Positive attitude and strong personal ownership: takes responsibility for outcomes, stays solution-focused when problems arise on site, and acts on priorities without waiting for direction.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Passion for sales and a genuine interest in building long-term customer relationships.
- Clear, structured communication with customers, resellers and a remote head office.
- Quick to learn specialized technical products and confident in explaining them to others.
- Flexible and adaptable, with good time management across competing priorities.

Travel and mobility

- Willing to travel around 25% of the time, including visits to remote site locations.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle.

Training and Development Comprehensive product training and ongoing mentoring will be provided to help the successful candidate settle into the role and grow within DCI.
