Role Description The Tendering / Quantity Surveying Civil role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves preparing and reviewing tender documents, analyzing drawings and specifications, and developing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil projects.
The skilled will handle cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure competitive and compliant bids. Day-to-day duties include cost planning, monitoring project expenditures, maintaining cost reports, and supporting negotiations with clients and contractors. The role also requires maintaining updated records, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and contributing to timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to manage budgets and monitor project expenses effectively.
- Candidates should be proficient in BOQ preparation, Cost Planning, and Cost Reporting for civil engineering and construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Knowledge of tendering processes, contract conditions, and relevant standards and codes.
- Experience with estimation software, MS Excel, and other project management tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
