Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatral, responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for industrial piping products and solutions. Day-to-day activities include identifying relevant tenders, reviewing tender documents, preparing compliant technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal teams such as sales, engineering, and procurement to gather accurate data and pricing. The role involves analyzing client requirements, monitoring submission timelines, maintaining tender documentation, and ensuring that all bids meet regulatory, contractual, and company standards.

Specialist will also support post-tender clarifications, participate in negotiations when required, and provide regular reporting on tender status, win/loss analysis, and market trends.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Tender Management skills, including end-to-end bid coordination, tender evaluation, and compliance with client and industry requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical specifications, pricing structures, and commercial terms, and to perform basic cost and margin analysis.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Proposal Writing skills to prepare clear tender documents, interact with clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess Procurement-related skills, including coordination with suppliers, understanding of sourcing processes, and basic knowledge of pricing and contract terms.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, commerce, or a related field; experience in industrial products, piping systems, or manufacturing is preferred.

- Robust attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international standards (ASTM, ASME, ANSI, DIN) and exposure to oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries will be an advantage.
