Job Summary

Job Title: Tender GeM Executive You will own end-to-end tendering and e-procurement activities for government and private opportunities, with a primary focus on the GeM portal and other e-procurement platforms. This role directly impacts revenue growth by ensuring timely, compliant, and competitive submissions. You will collaborate closely with sales, finance, legal, operations, and delivery teams to prepare technical and commercial bids, maintain GeM catalog listings, and track bid outcomes.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, process orientation, and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and identify relevant tenders on GeM and other e-procurement portals.
- Evaluate tender requirements and prepare compliant technical and financial proposals.
- Draft, review, and format bid documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to submission checklists.
- Manage GeM catalog listings and updates, including product/service descriptions and pricing.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, pricing, legal, operations) to collect supporting documentation and finalize bids.
- Manage digital signatures (DSC) and ensure timely electronic submissions on portals.
- Track bid status, maintain a centralized bid pipeline, and produce regular reports and dashboards.
- Maintain and update standard templates, response libraries, and version-controlled bid documents.
- Ensure compliance with procurement rules, tender conditions, and post-submission follow-ups.
- Support contract award activities and handover to delivery/operations teams as required.

Technology Stack

- GeM portal and other national/state e-procurement portals.
- Microsoft Excel (advanced: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation).
- Microsoft Word and PDF tools for proposal preparation and redaction.
- Document management and version control tools (SharePoint, Google Drive).
- Email and collaboration platforms (Outlook, Teams, Slack).




- Electronic signing and DSC management tools.
- Basic familiarity with CRM or ERP systems for pricing and order data.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong experience with tender preparation and GeM portal operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing and stakeholder coordination.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and bid submissions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for bid analysis and reporting.
- Good understanding of procurement/compliance requirements and tender terms and conditions.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and vendor communication.
- Basic knowledge of contract terms, pricing strategies, and commercial evaluation.
- Comfortable using digital signatures (DSC) and online submission workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience - Minimum: Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent technical diploma. Experience: 1 to 3 years in tendering, e-procurement, or bid coordination roles, preferably with exposure to GeM and government procurement processes.

Desirable: Certification or training in procurement, tender management, or advanced Excel.

Location & Work Arrangement
