Telemedicine & Digital Healthcare Access Initiative – Chennai

Role Purpose The Telemedicine Operator / Coordinator will manage the digital platform, OPD scheduling, doctor queue, teleconsultation coordination, prescription sharing, data validation, referral tracking and MIS reporting. This role will ensure smooth coordination between CHWs, doctors and patients.

Qualification & Experience

Graduate / Diploma in Computer Applications, Health Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Operations, Data Management, MIS or related field. Experience in digital tools, MIS reporting, telemedicine platforms, healthcare coordination or patient data management will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the telemedicine software / digital platform.
- Maintain patient registration records and unique patient IDs.
- Manage OPD schedule, patient queue and doctor consultation slots.
- Coordinate with empanelled doctors for live teleconsultations.




- Ensure patient history and basic test readings are available before consultation.
- Support CHWs during digital registration, data upload and consultation scheduling.
- Share digital prescriptions with patients / CHWs after doctor consultation.
- Maintain records of consultations, prescriptions, referrals and follow-ups.
- Track high-risk cases and referral status with CHWs.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Report device, internet, software or data issues to the Project Lead.
- Ensure patient confidentiality, password protection and restricted data access.
- Support donor reporting with verified data.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
