The Tele Caller / Tele Counsellor will be responsible for connecting with prospective students and parents, understanding their educational and career goals, providing accurate information about RIFTI Academys courses and programs, addressing queries, and guiding candidates throughout the admission journey. The role will focus on effective counselling, regular follow-ups, lead management, campus visits, and converting enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents using leads provided by the organization.
2. Respond to enquiries received through telephone calls, website, social media, online platforms, and other communication channels.
3. Understand students profiles by assessing their educational background, interests, career aspirations, preferences, and requirements.
4. Explain courses and programs clearly and accurately, including eligibility criteria, course duration, fee structure, curriculum, admission process, and career opportunities.
5. Provide counselling and guidance to prospective students and parents to help them identify courses and programs aligned with their interests and career goals.
6. Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates and maintain timely communication throughout the admission process.
7. Schedule and coordinate appointments, including counselling sessions, campus visits, demo classes, and other student interactions.
8. Maintain accurate lead records by updating calls, conversations, follow-ups, enquiries, appointments, and admission status in the CRM.
9. Achieve assigned calling and admission targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
10. Handle objections and queries professionally, providing appropriate information and escalating complex issues to the concerned team when required.

Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth and efficient student journey from enquiry to admission.
12. Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and parents through skilled, courteous, and effective communication.

Desired profile:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, student counselling, admissions counselling, education sales, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Excellent follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with students and parents.
- Fluency in English and Telugu preferred; Hindi is an added advantage.
