In the Public and Commercial Places segment, our Structural Engineering team supports clients in the planning and delivery of a wide range of building and infrastructure projects in Switzerland. With offices in Zurich, Chur and Rapperswil and around 50 colleagues across the relevant sections, we combine local presence with interdisciplinary expertise to develop efficient, sustainable and high-quality structural solutions.
You will join our Structural Engineering team based in one of our Design Centers in Noida, you will contribute to exciting projects in the field of public and commercial buildings and support the development of structural BIM models, drawings and documentation in close collaboration with engineers and project teams across different locations. Through cross-location collaboration and knowledge sharing, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical skills and benefit from a solid professional network.
Based on your qualifications and experience we have opening for the following positions: Assistant Structural Designer, Junior Structural Designer, Structural Designer and Senior Structural Designer.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Completed vocational training as a draftsperson,
structural design technician or comparable technical qualification
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in structural engineering
- Very good knowledge of Tekla, preferably in 3D Concrete, Reinforcement, Steel and Wood modelling
- Experience in creating reinforcement models and 2D reinforcement drawings in Tekla
- Experience working on BIM projects and enthusiasm for model-based design
- Good spatial awareness and precise working methods
- Interest in contributing to complex and large-scale projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
- Positive spoken and written English
- Independent, reliable and team-oriented personality
- Good to have:
- Experience working on Swiss projects
- Good German language skills at B2 level or higher
- Good knowledge of Allplan
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with Python and Grasshopper for Rhino
