About the Role
As a Technology & Automations Associate, you'll be a critical part of RISE's team, building and scaling the internal technology and automation systems that power our operations, sales, marketing, and academic delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to apply software and automation to real-world problems at a fast-growing startup, with direct exposure to the founders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across CRM, email, onboarding, payments, and internal tools using low-code and code-based solutions
- Maintain and improve the RISE website, landing pages, and internal portals; support integrations between web forms, CRMs, databases, and analytics tools
- Write and maintain scripts, APIs, and integrations (Python, JavaScript) to connect systems and eliminate manual work
- Identify operational bottlenecks and translate them into scalable, automated systems across admissions, mentor management, finance, and customer support
- Ensure all automations, forms, and systems are reliable, well-documented, and easy for non-technical teams to use
You're a Fit If You Have
- 0–2 years of experience in computer science, software engineering, automation, or a related technical role
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, SQL, and familiarity with website tools, APIs, and databases
- Experience with or strong interest in tools like Zapier, Make, CRMs, or workflow automation platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to own projects from start to finish
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, globally distributed startup environment
