About the Role

We build digital transformations for Indian SMEs and enterprises. Most engagements are ERP implementations on the Frappe / ERPNext stack. Many of our clients already run on SAP or Tally, so the work typically involves integrating ERPNext with those systems, and in some cases migrating off them entirely.

Other engagements involve custom software, AI applications and automation tools, or computer vision deployments. This role sits at the centre of all of it. You understand the client's business, translate it into system logic, and see it through to a live, adopted solution.

If you know ERPNext, great. If you know ERP but not ERPNext (SAP, Zoho, Odoo, or similar), we'll teach you Frappe, and you will learn our custom software, AI, and computer vision offerings on the job. What we can't teach is business sense, ownership, the ability to bring order to messy organisations, and the instinct to design systems that keep working as a client's business scales.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Scoping

- Frequent client sites to understand how their business actually runs
- Map processes across Finance, Purchase, Logistics, Sales, HR, and Operations
- Identify gaps between current state and target capability, and assess whether the right answer is ERP configuration, custom software, AI automation, a computer vision use case, or a combination
- Produce scoping documents, FRDs, process maps, and user stories

Design & Development Liaison
- Translate business requirements into solution designs: modules, workflows, roles, permissions, and reports for ERP engagements; functional specifications, logic flows, and acceptance criteria for custom software, AI tools, and computer vision use cases
- Act as the single point of contact between client teams and our ERP, software, AI, and computer vision developers
- Conduct real-time requirement and feedback gathering at client sites to facilitate design thinking
- Co-design solution approaches with the dev team, validate feasibility, and continuously refine system logic, with an eye on how the design holds up as data, users, and complexity grow

Implementation & Go-Live
- Configure ERPNext end-to-end: masters, chart of accounts, taxation, pricing rules, communication integrations, multi-company / multi-branch setups
- Scope and coordinate integrations between ERPNext and the client's existing SAP, Tally, or other systems, ensuring clean data flow and reconciliation across both




- Manage data migration from Tally, SAP, Excel, and other legacy systems where a client is transitioning fully to ERPNext
- For custom software, AI, and computer vision engagements, coordinate deployment, integration with the client's existing systems, and on-ground readiness such as data availability, access, and camera or hardware setups
- Own UAT: write test cases, track defects, enforce sign-offs
- Plan and execute go-live activities including rollback strategies
- Provide on-site hypercare post-launch to ensure operational continuity

Training & Adoption
- Train end users on implemented solutions across client departments, whether ERP, custom software, AI tools, or computer vision systems
- Build documentation that supports smooth adoption
- Collect structured feedback post-deployment and drive continuous improvement in an agile manner

Presales & Sales Support
- Visit prospective client sites (including government offices where relevant) to assist in pitching our ERP, custom software, AI, and computer vision capabilities
- Support presales conversations by understanding client pain points and mapping them to the most relevant solution
- Follow up with prospects post-meeting and maintain relationships until a decision is made
- Once a client is onboarded, transition into the BA role and own the implementation end-to-end

Client Relationships & Account Growth
- Serve as our frontline B2B relationship owner at client sites
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and upsell or cross-sell across Zuneko's capabilities
- Maintain strong stakeholder trust throughout the engagement lifecycle

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

- 2 to 6 years of experience in similar roles: ERP or software implementations as a Business Analyst, Techno-Functional Consultant, or equivalent
- Technical background (B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, etc.) or proven technical expertise
- Strong grasp of core business functions, including P2P, O2C, R2R, payroll, approval workflows, and accounting across departments
- Strong grasp of business logic: how workflows, approvals,



and data actually connect across departments, not just how individual screens or features behave in isolation
- Fluency with Tally and Excel, and working familiarity with SAP, since most clients run on these and our implementations typically integrate with or migrate from them
- Prior exposure to ERP, SaaS, or system rollout implementations on any platform (ERPNext, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Zoho, or similar)
- Enough technical understanding of AI tools, automation, and computer vision systems to scope requirements, explain solutions credibly to clients, and brief developers accurately
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear workflows and process maps, not just gather requirements
- Ability to design and scope systems that scale, thinking beyond the immediate ask to how workflows, data models, and processes will hold up as a client's transaction volume, users, and complexity grow
- Comfort working in low-process, high-ambiguity SME environments and imposing structure
- Ability to challenge client assumptions and avoid over-customisation while maintaining stakeholder buy-in
- Working understanding of how systems translate to data models (tables, relationships, dependencies) without needing to code
- Experience with documentation standards: FRDs, BRDs, user stories, test cases
- Solid UAT ownership: ability to define success criteria and enforce sign-offs
- Excellent communication skills across senior management and ground-level staff
- High ownership and responsiveness when managing multiple stakeholders and moving priorities

Good to have

- Prior implementation experience with ERPNext / Frappe, or with other ERP platforms such as SAP (Business One / ECC), Zoho (Books / One), or Odoo; training on Frappe / ERPNext will be provided either way
- Experience with ERP-to-ERP or ERP-to-accounting integrations (for example, ERPNext with Tally or SAP)
- Hands-on exposure to custom software, AI, automation, or computer vision projects in a client-facing or implementation capacity
- Knowledge of Indian statutory and taxation frameworks (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Familiarity with agile and design thinking methodologies
- Prior experience with SME digital transformation projects
- Comfortable with frequent travel to client sites across Kolkata and nearby regions with extended in office presence during active project phases (expenses covered)
