Job Title - Technical Writer

Location - Kochi (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities-

- Documentation Creation: Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information for documentation.
- Content Management: Organize and manage documentation in a structured way, ensuring consistency in terminology, style, and format across all materials.
- Review and Editing: Proofread and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and punctuation. Ensure that documentation meets company standards and is free from errors.
- Version Control: Manage updates and revisions to existing documentation, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in the final documents.
- User Experience Focus: Ensure that all documentation is user-focused, providing transparent instructions that meet the needs of the intended audience.
- Research: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and tools related to technical writing and documentation.




- Tool Utilization: Utilize various content management systems, authoring tools, and graphics software to create and maintain documentation.

Qualifications-

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.

Skills-

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear terms.
- Familiarity with software development processes, programming languages, and API documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience-

- Experience in a specific industry, such as software, IT, or engineering.
- Knowledge of UX writing principles.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with content management systems and documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
