Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Support & Design Engineer to support the design, estimation, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of CCTV, Fire Alarm and Public Address systems.

The role will involve a combination of office-based system designing and technical support, along with occasional site visits for commissioning, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare system designs for CCTV, Fire Alarm and Public Address systems based on customer requirements, drawings, BOQ and tender specifications.
- Prepare BOQ, technical compliance sheets, datasheets, system architecture and solution proposals.
- Perform CCTV camera selection, coverage planning, storage calculations, bandwidth calculations and server/NVR/VMS sizing.
- Support configuration and commissioning of IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms and network-based surveillance systems.
- Design Fire Alarm systems including detector selection, loop calculation, panel selection, modules, interfaces and system architecture.
- Support programming, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm panels.
- Design Public Address systems including speaker selection, amplifier sizing, zone planning and basic load calculations.
- Provide technical support to customers, system integrators, consultants and internal sales teams.
- Assist the sales team in selecting technically suitable products and preparing solutions.
- Review tender specifications and prepare technical compliance/deviation statements.
- Prepare drawings, schematics, system block diagrams and technical documentation.
- Conduct product demonstrations, FAT/SAT and customer training when required.
- Coordinate with OEM technical teams for complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software,



networking and integration-related issues.
- Maintain project documentation, configuration files and technical reports.
- Provide remote as well as onsite technical support.
- Travel to customer/project sites when required.

Technical Knowledge Preferred

CCTV & VMS

- IP Cameras, NVR/DVR, VMS
- Camera lens and coverage selection
- Storage and bandwidth calculation
- Networking fundamentals – IP addressing, VLAN, PoE, switches
- Video analytics and basic system integration
- ONVIF, RTSP and related CCTV protocols

Fire Alarm

- Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
- Detectors, MCPs, sounders, modules and interfaces
- Loop architecture and system configuration
- Cause & Effect programming
- Basic understanding of applicable fire alarm standards

Public Address

- 100V Line PA Systems
- Speakers and amplifier sizing
- Zone-based PA architecture
- Emergency/Public Address fundamentals
- Basic audio system troubleshooting

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, E&TC; or related engineering field
- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience can apply.
- Candidates with hands-on exposure to ELV / Security / Fire systems will be preferred.

Skills Required

- Strong technical and troubleshooting ability
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage
- Willingness to learn multiple technologies
- Willingness to travel for projects and technical support

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is technically curious and interested in developing expertise across CCTV, Fire Alarm and PA systems, rather than working on only one product category.

The candidate should be comfortable working across design, pre-sales support, configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting and should have the ability to learn current technologies and OEM platforms quickly.
