TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST will be responsible for planning and implementing meetings with possible clients and support achieving target sales goals.
Tasks & Activities:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across India
- Technical sales of the range of analytical & Impurity products used in process development and quality control in the Biopharma sector
- Provide products and solution for Cell culture media and production media
- This will also include customer and sales related travel at approximately 50-60% of time
- Provide Technical support, scientific and commercial consultation
- Prepare and present technical seminars/workshops to a wide array of audiences at major conferences, trade displays, seminars and customers site as required
- Assist in tech support cases
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the product portfolio including technical aspects and marketing tactics
- Identify and develop current business opportunities in the region
- Maintain awareness of and report life science market trends
- Work with team to design, adapt and implement successful sales and marketing tactics to ensure success
Key Competency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience:
3-5 Yrs. in Technical sales of the analytical products used in process development and quality control in the Biopharma sector. Hands on experience in Cygnus Technologies – Host Cell Protein & DNA Detection, Bioconcept – Media, Ludger – Products for Glycan Analysis
Education:
MSc. /BSc. In Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology
