Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The person in this role will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical requirements related to solar monitoring, SCADA, and remote monitoring solutions, and propose suitable products and services.

Daily responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical and commercial proposals, responding to technical queries, and coordinating with internal engineering and support teams to ensure smooth project execution. The role also involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support,



maintaining accurate sales documentation and CRM records, and contributing to sales targets and market development initiatives. Regular client visits, participation in technical discussions, and continuous learning about product updates and industry trends are essential components of this role.

Qualifications

- Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Experience in Sales and account management, including lead generation, prospect qualification, and deal closure.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and troubleshooting for hardware and software-based monitoring and SCADA solutions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear technical presentations, documentation, and client interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Understanding of solar power plants, industrial automation, SCADA, or remote monitoring systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct client visits in the Pune Division, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Competence with MS Office, CRM tools, and basic data analysis for reporting and proposal preparation.
