Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to develop business opportunities and provide technical solutions for industrial pump applications. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, selecting suitable pumps, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump solutions.
- Select pumps based on flow, head, application, motor power, fluid characteristics, and operating conditions.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide timely technical responses.
- Visit customer sites to understand applications and provide suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, project teams, and internal technical teams.
- Prepare pump selection data, technical offers, and other required documents.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and payments.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers and develop long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with the service team for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support when required.
- Track market requirements, competitor products, pricing, and new business opportunities.




- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in technical sales, pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial products.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and good communication skills may also apply.
- Basic understanding of centrifugal pumps, sewage pumps, dewatering pumps, booster systems, motors, and pumping systems.
- Ability to understand pump curves, datasheets, and basic technical specifications.
- Positive communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial pumps, water & wastewater applications, HVAC, infrastructure, process industries, or other rotating equipment will be an added advantage.
