NJ Designpark is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage web development projects and act as the bridge between our clients and internal teams.

This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, client communication, project management, problem-solving, and team coordination.

We are not looking for a purely administrative Project Manager. You should have a good understanding of websites and web technologies and be able to investigate issues, understand client requirements, communicate clearly with developers, review work, and ensure projects are completed to the required standard.

You will work closely with our Client Support, Development, Design, QA, SEO/Content, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage website and digital projects from client request through completion.
- Act as the main bridge between clients and our internal technical teams.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into clear, actionable tasks.
- Assign and coordinate work between developers, designers, QA testers, and other departments.
- Investigate website issues before escalating them to developers.
- Identify bugs, technical issues, incomplete work, and functionality problems.
- Clearly explain technical issues and requirements to developers.
- Review completed work and ensure it meets the required standards.
- Follow internal checklists, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Flag issues when work does not meet the agreed standard.
- Follow up with team members and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure client requests do not get missed or stuck between departments.
- Support our Client Support team with technical questions and explanations.
- Join client calls and confidently discuss projects, issues, requirements, and next steps.
- Explain technical information to clients in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Take ownership of problems and follow them through until they are properly resolved.

Technical Skills Required You do not need to be an active full-time developer, but you should have a good working understanding of:
- WordPress
- cPanel and web hosting
- Domains and DNS
- Website migrations
- SSL certificates




- Website forms and lead generation
- SMTP and basic email configuration
- WordPress plugins and themes
- Staging and live website environments
- Basic HTML/CSS
- Website troubleshooting
- Website QA and responsive testing
- CRM integrations
- APIs and webhooks at a basic/intermediate level

Basic knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Git/GitHub, Cloudflare, Zapier, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or CRM platforms would be an advantage. Communication & Management Skills The ideal candidate should:

- Have excellent spoken and written English.
- Be confident communicating with UK and international clients.
- Be comfortable handling client calls independently.
- Be able to explain technical subjects in simple language.
- Communicate effectively with developers and technical team members.
- Have strong organisational and project management skills.
- Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Be proactive with follow-ups.
- Be comfortable questioning or flagging work that does not meet the required standard.
- Take accountability instead of simply forwarding messages between clients and developers.
- Be able to make sensible decisions without requiring management involvement in every small issue.

Previous hands-on web development experience would be a strong advantage.

"Leads from our website are not reaching our CRM."

We don't want someone who simply forwards the client's message to a developer.

You should be able to understand the issue, reproduce or investigate it where possible, check the relevant setup, collect the required information, identify which team needs to handle it, and provide the developer with a clear task.

Once fixed, you should make sure the solution has been properly tested and communicate the outcome clearly to the client.

We are looking for someone who naturally thinks:

What is the issue? Why is it happening? Who needs to fix it? Has it been tested? Has the client been updated?

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- Valuable technical understanding of websites and web development.
- Strong WordPress knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Previous experience communicating directly with clients.
- Comfortable attending video and voice calls with international clients.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with developers, designers, QA testers, and non-technical team members.
- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office position in Bhilai.
